Sarasota financial adviser and attorney David Sterling has worked in the financial services industry for 20 years at major banks and investment firms. He founded Sterling Capital Resources of Sarasota and serves on a number of state and national bar committees addressing issues germane to financial well-being, including trust management, financial and estate planning, asset protection, and specialty issues.
David is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Financial Planning Association.
He is an advisory council member for an investor rights project, Pace Investors Rights Project, funded through the New York State Attorney General’s office, and has collaborated with the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) for the review of Senior Protection in Annuity Transactions.
He has also consulted with the NASD (National Association of Securities Dealers) and SEC regarding practice standards for the sale of insurance products.
