The commitment of the American University of Integrative Sciences, School of Medicine to its host country, Barbados, as well as the overall Caribbean community, is in part supported by this tuition grant available to the citizens of the region:
Academic Grant for Caribbean Citizens: An academic scholarship is available to citizens of the Caribbean Basin who wish to pursue their medical studies at the American University of Integrative Sciences, School of Medicine. The scholarship can be awarded to 12 new recipients each calendar year. Applicants must have an undergraduate or Pre-Medical GPA of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) in a science-related field of study from a recognized college or university. Eligible applicants must write a letter to the Admissions Committee indicating why they wish to be considered for this scholarship, in addition to submitting an application for General Admission. The Scholarship sets Basic Sciences Tuition for Caribbean students at $6800 USD/ Semester as recognition of currency exchage rate fluctations.
