U.S. Students
We focus our US students on hitting a high USMLE Step 1 mark and strong preparation for Clinical course work. Each US student has the option of studying in one or multiple regions of the US, typically based around the hubs of Atlanta, Washington, DC, Chandler, Arizona and Detroit, MI.
As of July 2018, US citizens that are admitted to AUIS that have a 3.0/4.0 GPA in their undergraduate education (graduate education may apply, solely at AUIS’s discretion) are eligible for a tuition grant of up to 50%, which brings tuition to $6,600 USD in the Basic Sciences semesters. AUIS has partnerships in place with Lincoln University in Pennsylvania and Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth. Both institutions are over 100 years old and have a long tradition of scholarship and student success. If you are a graduate of one of these schools, please indicate that during the admissions process- you qualify for additional grants. As of August 2018, AUIS does not offer access to US Federal Student Loans. We have private loan options available, please speak with your admissions representative when applying.
